Case #JF19-
Private Residence
(Valrico, FL) – Bobby, Grace, Ed, & Elena
Moon:Waning
Gibbous - 97% of Full
History:The home
is approximately 2100 square feet and consists of 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
There is a family of 4 with a 9 year old girl and the son at age
5.
Report:The
homeowner claims that his daughter had seen the hallway light
turning on and off from underneath her door when she was going
to bed and she had occupied the second bedroom. While
still in this room, she states that she has seen a ball of light
floating in room around 2 - 3:00 am every night. When the
daughter moved her room to Bedroom 3, she claimed that, while
getting ready for school, her dresser mirror had rocked back and
forth just prior to falling on her head, causing a concussion.
The homeowner is concerned for the daughter's safety.
Investigation: Seven vide cameras were set up in the
four bedrooms, living room, hallway, and breakfast nook.
An EVP session was conducted in Bedroom 2. No fluctuation in EMF
or any other unusual activity. Grace indicated that prior to the
session, she sensed a tall, thin man in front of the closet
anywhere form his mid twenties to fifties.
The team moved to
Bedroom 2 (the girl's room where the mirror had fallen). An EVP
session was also conducted with nothing unusual to note.
Investigators then
moved to the fourth bedroom (the boy's room), where another EVP
session was conducted as well as placement of the K-II meter.
Although subjective, the lights on the K-II meter appear to have
been responding to questions asked. Based upon the the questions
asked, it indicated that there was a slave that had eaten
berried or food that it wasn't supposed to, and had a feeling of
guilt by doing so. Again, PROOF does not indicate that
communication was made, but documented the action of the K-II
meter while questions were asked.
The team then moved to Bedroom 1
(master bedroom) and finally the living room where an EVP
sessions was conducted but nothing unusual was noted in either
room.
Conclusion:
P.R.O.O.F. is unable to confirm this location to be haunted but one section of audio
is currently under review.
History:The home consisted of
2 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms.
Report:Though
no known paranormal events ever took place in the home, a recent
death had occurred to an acquaintance of a P.R.O.O.F. member.
Attempted contact through an investigation was conducted.
Investigation:Unlike
most investigations, each investigator had an opportunity to
enter the home alone for 10-15 minutes to get a feel for the
environment, try an EVP session, or just to get comfortable with
the layout.
Without discussing our personal
feelings until each investigator was completed, it was
determined that each person had an uncomfortable feeling about
moving up to the second floor, with a few investigators that
decided not go upstairs alone.
Ed had reported that, upon
entering the living room, he claimed to see an orange calico cat
curled up on the couch out of the corner of his eye but was not
there when directly looking at it. He claimed that while
heading up the stairs, he had an uneasy feeling and felt
hesitation upon entering the master bedroom. While
experimenting with The PX (www.digitaldowsning.com)
, and returning downstairs, he sat on the couch to introduce
himself. The PX stated the word 'Cat', which coincided with
his earlier vision. During this time, he had a vision of an
adult male, 50-60 years in age, limping down the stairs. It was
later confirmed that the deceased owner did previously own two
cats.
Investigators entered the home
together to setup equipment and take base EMF readings as well
as temperature.
Once completed, we conducted an
EVP session, which had no results. The temperature remained
normal and no EMF spikes were noted. Ed had felt as though
someone had kicked the back on the couch, while sitting with
Kris, but Kris was unable to confirm this feeling.
At this time, the history of the
home and the occupants were revealed to include a possible
suicide two months prior to our investigation. Chris had moved
toward the bottom of the stairs and experienced his hairs
standing on end as well as seeing a possible shadow at the top
of the stairs. Grace later claimed to have seen a darkening at
the top of the stairs with no specific shape.
An EVP session was conducted in
the master bedroom as well as in the second bedroom with nothing
unusual noted.
Conclusion:
P.R.O.O.F. is unable to confirm this location to be haunted but
a piece of video evidence is currently under review that had
occurred in the master bedroom.
Case #JB27-
Private Residence
(Clearwater Beach, FL) – Bobby, Chris, & Ed
Moon:Waxing
Gibbous - 98% of Full
History:This home consisted of
4 bedrooms and 2 bathroom.
Report:The
homeowner indicated that they had
pool light on facing into den while they were socializing
outside in the pool area. A “misty” apparition was
reported floated into the dining room from the bedroom areas and
then dematerialized. This had occurred 2 or 4 more times with a
family member also witnessing the event.
The
husband had seen
someone in the dining room but could not locate anyone in the
home. Several people all witnessed same thing.
The homeowner
advised that the original owner's wife and mother had
passed away in the home while the second owners had a
miscarriage in one of the bedrooms.
The current homeowner had
her 5 year old
granddaughter over to visit and she screamed for over 2 hours as
she kept hearing things. The granddaughter was never told any of
the history or reports of the house. Since then, she has
remained frightened of the room. The room was the one in which
the miscarriage had occurred.
Investigation:All
investigators started in the back bedroom where the grandchild
was terrified. A normal conversation was held for approximately
30 minutes to see if anything out of the ordinary occurred
during regular socializing. An EVP session was also conducted.
Nothing unusual or any evidence was captured.
The team as well as
the homeowner and daughter-in-law moved to the formal living
room and repeated similar attempts as described above with
nothing unusual noted.
We all moved to the dining area
and focused on asking yes and no questions to the presence that
seemed have been triggering the tri-field meter. The questions
were formulated based on the words we had received on the Ghost
Meter (a cell phone application). We did seem to have some
response to our questions and, according to the answers given,
the presence was some type of soldier or seaman. No definite
evidence to conclude what we were hearing regarding the yes and
no session was valid. Temp and EMF reading were normal this
entire time.
The Ghost Meter came up with the
following words (in order) throughout the investigation:
*The words in bold
are what the client felt may have been related to the case.
Conclusion:
P.R.O.O.F. is unable to confirm this location to be haunted due
to lack of any evidence found during the window of time that was
spent at this location, but hope to continue their
investigating at this location again in the future.
History:The
property on which the property is located is on land that was
obtained under the Armed Occupation Act in 1843 by Richard
Wiggins. Wiggins was deeded 160 acres under the act that gave
new settlers land based on their agreement to stay in the area
for at least five years.
John May bought the
property in 1855 and in 1856 he donated 15 acres to the county
as a county seat.
On September 29, 1877
when the courthouse burned down, all records of when the house
was built were destroyed.
John May lived in the
house with his wife Marena, and their daughter until his death
in 1858. Eight years later, in 1858, his wife married Frank
Saxon (a Confederate veteran) and died in 1869 during child
birth.
The house was later
sold to Dr. Sheldon Stringer and later was lived in by Judge
Fred Stringer. Eventually, the house was sold to Dr. Earl
Hensley and his wife Helen, who leased it to the Hernando
Historical Museum Association, Inc., with an option to buy in
October of 1981 to be used to house the artifacts of Hernando
County.
The twelve room house
is a seven gable structure with gingerbread trim. It is four
stories tall and the ceilings reach 20 feet in height, with over
11,000 artifacts.
The soldier's room
consists of
uniforms brought to the museum by the families of the soldiers
that wore them. They're arranged in chronological order from
World War I through Vietnam. Most of these gentlemen died in
combat.
The class room is
filled with a blackboard and several desks. The museum was able
to
rescue many of the items from one of the last one room
schoolhouses in the area, which was literally falling down and
scheduled to be taken to the dump. Originally, this room was
used as a guest room for a solder.
Report:The
motion sensor driven alarm system in the house goes off in the
middle of the night and one of us directors has to come and meet
the police here to let them in.
When the alarm goes off, it's due to the movement caused in the
soldiers' room and is considered as one of the hot spots in the
house, which may be due to young men, dying before their time,
involved in some gut wrenching activities, scared, and so forth
as stated by a volunteer.
It is reported that
previous groups have caught many EVPs in the soldiers' room and
it is believed that there is a WWI soldier that wanders
throughout the house and had also committed suicide in the
house. He was originally a guest of Betty Stringer's and when he
came back from the war, he had been engaged to be married. When
he came back, Betty was the one to tell him that while he was
gone his fiancé married somebody else. Since h is finance was
what kept him going for all those years in the war, he quietly
went to the attic and hung himself. Now, he apparently wonders
the entire house and he likes to fondle women as it has occurred
over and over and over again.
The class room has
had many reports over seven years, but the
most compelling one was a
Brooksville police officer that had met with a volunteer at the
backdoor one Saturday when she was ready to open and insisted on
coming into the house, racing straight to the school room , and
looking at this window. The volunteer said "What's going on? What
are you looking for?" He said, "I had to come in the daytime and
make sure that there's no mannequin in that window." The
volunteer
replied, "Sir, as you can see, there isn't". He said, "Well, I'm
the guy who has the late night patrol and every hour on the hour
I have to come the city block around the museum and check
everything".
It is reported that the police
officer will come bay at 12 O'clock and all the lights are off
in the house. At 1 O'clock, he'll come back with the school room
light and the attic light on. Apparently, there is a
soldier in an old fashioned uniform seen and he makes eye
contact every time the police officer drives by.
The volunteer reports that, on his way
out the door, he turned around and pointed at me and said,
"Now I'm going to tell you one more thing. If the alarm goes off
and I'm on duty I am not coming to this place!"
Reports also include an employee
from the real estate office across the street asking the
volunteer,
"How do you guys stand to be inside
there? We see this weird guy in the window all the time and he's
staring at us!? The volunteer replied that you get used to it and
explained that he's part of the house and is pretty sure that it
is the solder that committed suicide in the home.
Another report includes a previous
resident of the home, in town for a family reunion and they were
touring the house. When they got to school room, these 2 ladies,
again in their 40's said "Oh this was our room when we lived
here." and their bed was right up here and the very first night
they moved in the house the 2 little girls woke up and standing
at the foot of their bed as a soldier in an old fashioned
uniform. So they told their mom and dad the next morning
and then the parents began canvassing the neighborhood to see if
there was some weirdo that was climbing up on the porch or
something. The neighbors told them the story about this poor guy
from World War I and because he committed suicide here, his
values, his religion, he considers this hell. This is where
he's going to stay for eternity because this it where he ended
his own.
The volunteer likes to
call him James because she's
been around him for so long. She states that s has no idea
what his name is and has done a lot of research back from that
time and is a story that's been around for 100 years.
One of the bedrooms was
one in which Jessie May was born in (and later died),
Marena died giving birth to Jessie May and probably
countless of others over the next 130 years and used to
include an actor's trunk. When it had arrived 4 years ago,
the nastiest entity of all came to be which the volunteer
simply calls, " Mr. Nasty".
She believes that he resides
in the attic and states that, "He's mean. I mean "GET OUT"
you know, that kind of stuff". "We've had a couple of
volunteers that had to stop volunteering here because they
became so overwhelmed with this, whatever it is."
A separate storage room in
the attic is referred to as "The Black Hole." and is
believed to be where "Mr. Nasty" resides. It was pointed out
that there are no lights and no windows. We were also warned
that, "When he's of a mind, he comes tearing out of there
and gets in your face." "It started down in the military
room in the closet and that was the first time he hit me
right across the face. It was funny because it was so hot.
It wasn't cold, it was a hot slap. I had a big red mark on
my face and I instantly got furious. And I knew exactly who
it was..."
"I make one of my team
members bring the people up here. I'm done on the second
floor. You definitely want to have recorders up here and
spend some time. You can do whatever you want with that guy
but I warn you, he can be really nasty, REALLY nasty."
Investigation:Prior
to officially starting the investigation. Chris, had started
recording on his camcorder. A disembodied voice was captured
during this time which can be reviewed below. Base
readings of the temperature and EMF readings were all
normal and did not fluctuate throughout the night.
Much of the
investigation composed of splitting up into two team (Team 1:
Chris, Grace & Ed) and (Team 2: Mike, Debbie, & Derek), with
Bobby later joining the second group.
The first team
started on the second floor and documented one spike of 3.6 mG
on the EMF meter just prior to entering the class room.
The second team
started the investigation on the first floor and noted small
spikes on the tri-field meter which resembled Morse Code to all
members that were present. After a few minutes of communication
attempts, the audible spikes had stopped.
Team 1 had moved to
the attic where Ed had reported a small tug at his shirt. At
that time Team 2 had attempted a couple of additional EVP
sessions with nothing else noted.
After Team 1 had
left the second floor and prior to Team 2 coming upstairs, a
possible manifestation was captured in the same window that had
prior activity reported. This can be viewed in the video below.
After additional
time, Team 2 had moved upstairs to the while Bobby joined and
Team 1 moved downstairs. Bobby had made the motion of
rubbing his arm as he though he had been touched, but had not
yet informed anyone. Seconds later, Debbie stated out loud that
she felt that something was touching her.
A
few sounds were observed such as footsteps and a woman's voice.
Debbie also mentioned that she was really starting to feel ill
so she removed herself from the investigation while Bobby, Derek
and Mike moved to the second floor to investigate.
While Team 1 was
downstairs, nothing out of the ordinary was reported.
During the
investigation, while neither team was in the attic, two
different light anomalies were captured from a secluded portion
and could not be be explained as there are no lights or windows.
These can be viewed on the video below.
Prior to breakdown, the team gathered in the dining room while
the volunteer played music on an old device in an attempt to stir
up activity. No personal experiences were noted by any team
member during this time.
Conclusion:P.R.O.O.F.
maintains the opinion that there is paranormal activity throughout the property
and much of the captured evidence coincides with the initial
reports at this location. P.R.O.O.F. has plans on a follow up
investigation and believes that the location is likely haunted.
Case #JA22-Private
Residence
(Clearwater, FL) – Chris & Ed
Moon:Waning
Crescent - 7% of Full
History:This
apartment home consisted of 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom.
Report:The
female resident lives alone and has reported feeling someone
sitting on her bed as she lay. She reports doors moving by
themselves and had even closed it fully shut only to find it
wide open the following day. She stated that her dog also growls
for no apparent reason. Claims of footsteps were heard while no
one else was in the apartment. Recently, while packing to move
(for unrelated reasons), a box had been placed on a lower shelf
in the bathroom. When she woke up the following morning, the box
was found behind the door of the bathroom, making it difficult
to open. She claims that she does not feel that there is any
threat, but is looking to find validation.
Investigation:Base
readings of the living room
did not show any fluctuations on the EMF meter, and the
temperature was normal and only fluctuated within half a degree.
The kitchen also did not show any fluctuations in temperature or
EMF, while there was an electrical panel noted in a small room
at the far end of the kitchen.
The bathroom did not have any fluctuations in temperature but
did have some spikes on the EMF meter raging from .5 to 7.5
gauss with the main focus located at the upper left corner in
the rear area of the shower. Readings were steady in this area,
which was likely due to electrical current behind the wall.
However, the only electrical appliance on the opposite side of
this wall was the refrigerator. The refrigerator was a 120v
current and did not emit these types of readings while the meter
was directly in contact with it
The hallway, which connected all rooms, had recorded spikes on
the EMF meter peaking at 1.5 while the temperature did not
fluctuate. Investigators noted this area leading into the
bedroom felt as though there was an electrical vortex.
EMF readings in the bedroom peaked at 1.6 gauss with no
temperature changes, but both investigators noted a heavy
feeling and almost felt like they were being watched.
Investigators conducted an EVP session in the bathroom. It was
undetermined if the tri-field meter was responsive to yeas or no
type questions as it reacted about half the time. However, there
were also unexplained small spikes audibly indicated on the EMF
meter as well. Both investigators reported the feeling of the
hairs on their body standing on end as if there was a static
electricity in the air. One of the video cameras in this room
showed a low battery signal. The battery was then removed form
the camera and put back in, as this initially had hours of life
still left. Once the battery was placed back into the video
camera, it indicated 105 minutes of battery life left.
Throughout the investigation, power to other video recorders
were also affected as fully charged batteries were drained.
Conclusion:Although
members did experience some unexplained events, P.R.O.O.F
does not have any conclusive evidence of paranormal activity at
this location.
Unfortunately, P.R.O.O.F. is not able to provide a follow-up
investigation as the resident has since moved out of state.
In an effort to
experiment with an ongoing case, P.R.O.O.F. members were split into
teams on a rotation basis.
Focus was spent investigating the
Storybook House, The Cottage, The Magnolia House, and The Little
House Under the Oak. while some investigators
spent time alone in the Main House attic in an
attempt to communicate with a possible spirit of a young woman
or child.
During a short break
between changing shifts, a video camera and digital audio
recorder were left unattended in the attic of the Main House.
During this time, our audio recorder picked up what we believe
to be a tapping or footsteps. no one was in the attic and all
P.R.O.O.F. members were accounted for.
While Grace and ED we left
alone in the Storybook house, there was an unexplained noise
that was heard by both members and caught on our audio
equipment. The sound was fairly heavy and came from the attic.
Members immediately went upstairs and noticed nothing out of
place or on the floor.
In the Magnolia House, a
stationary video camera was set in the hallway. During the short
break, while all members were in the Main House, a tapping sound
was captured. It appears to resemble that of an old typewriter,
but also seems to move slightly form left to right. This sound
was not captured at any other time during the investigation and
the source remains unknown.
While a team was
investigating inside the Storybook house, a Class "A" EVP was
captured and appears to have a similar voice captured on prior
investigations
Conclusion: P.R.O.O.F.
maintains the opinion that there is likely
paranormal activity throughout the property as there have been many occurrences that
can not be explained.

Report: Reinvestigation of
Case # GK10
Investigation:
All video equipment was set up in similar areas as prior
investigations.
Consistent readings of temperature and EMF readings were noted
during our re-investigation. However, while conducting an
EVP session in the middle daughter's room,
Mike attempted to validate
the belief that a young child may roam this home by asking
questions regarding the age. The evidence below contains the
original audio captured during this time. It is important to
note that no prior audio tones were made prior to the
questioning.
In the same video,
you will also hear
an EVP that was captured when leaving the room. P.R.O.O.F. is
unable to determine the voice to be that of a male or a female
figure.
Conclusion: It
appears that some form of intelligence may be present at this
location due to direct responses from a tri-field meter during
an EVP session. While nothing appears to have any negative
intent or harm to the residents of the home,
P.R.O.O.F. hopes to maintain a continuous case to try and gather
and explain reported activities.
Investigation:This
investigation took place in different buildings on the property.
We had set up equipment that was untouched in the attic of the
Main House. We split into two teams to investigate the Cottage
House, as well as the Magnolia House to include the main floor,
attic, and basement. Both teams were always at least 2 floors
away from each other and could not hear any sound from the other
team.
During an EVP session in the Magnolia House, Chris, Mike, and
Debbie capture a female voice to what we believe to be saying,
"Oh, yeah." or "Gloria". What is interesting, is the "voice"
appears to be the same one caught in the Main House attic from
the prior investigation.
Later, during the investigation, one of the lamps was found
moving rapidly back and forth. This event was witness by Chris,
Mike, Debbie, and even the owner. While the team worked to
disprove a paranormal event, it was noted that the air
conditioner did have an effect on the movement of the lamp.
However, all who witnessed claimed that it had previously moved
much greater than what the air conditioner was causing.
While no one was in the attic of the Main House, one of the
night vision cameras captured an anomaly. After reviewing the
object in detailed, P.R.O.O.F. has ruled out dust or an insect
due to it's characteristics. Dust would have "floated" more,
wouldn't have made an abrupt turn, and likely would not have
been as bright. An insect would have had more "zig zag" of a
flying pattern, much like that of a bat. The one thing that
stands out is the fact that the anomaly is so bright, even when
reducing the brightness of the screen, and remains consistent in
brightness (not while only in front of the infrared light
emitting from the camera).
Conclusion:After
two investigation, it is P.R.O.O.F.'s opinion that there is likely
paranormal activity throughout the property as there have been many occurrences that
can not be explained. P.R.O.O.F. will continue to investigate
Roger's Christmas House an maintain an ongoing case.

Moon:
Waxing Gibbous – 75% of Full
History:This home is approximately 1140 sq ft
with 3 bedroom and 2 bathrooms.
Report: -
The residents’ pet dogs have been reported to stare and look
down the hallway where most of the activity takes place. The
resident watches the dogs looking up at what is believed to
possibly be a ghost.
The male resident report seeing a pair of glowing eyes approx 5'
9" -- as if a head turned to look at him and then turned and
walked away. The room wasn't very dark when it happened -- but
he didn't see anything other than the eyes. They were glowing
as if they were like someone's eye in the dark with a light
shining in them (like a flash).
All residents (male female, and teenage son) have heard voices
-- music (like old-fashioned style) -- pulling off blankets,
shocks, bar/restaurant sounds, chattering glasses/dishes. The
female resident has heard "Quiet, here she comes" while the male
has recorded the sound of someone calling his son's name at
approximately 3:00am while the kid was asleep.
The residents have replaced numerous night lights in the hallway
with the activity. He buys them and brand new, they blow out.
The son complains that he can't sleep because someone keeps
talking in his room.
The residents sometimes think it's the spirit that followed
them from their business, but the occurrences aren’t consistent,
so they aren't sure.
Investigation: The
base temperature readings throughout the home were between 73-74
degrees. A spike in temperature of 85 degrees was documented
while in the master bedroom. All other temperature readings
remained consistent. It was noted that light form the kitchen
could be viewed from the reflection in the dresser mirror, which
may have explained reported glowing lights
At one point, while the tri-field remained unattended on a shelf
in the hallway, there were several audible alerts indicating a
spike in EMF. Chris and Mike returned to the hallway and
attempted communication by
requesting alerts (beeps) in specific order. Upon hearing 2
beeps in a row, Mike requested "two more times like that fast".
The tri-field then went off 4 times in a row. The tri-field
then went off 3 times in a row. Mike again asked for 3 beeps in
a row fast. The tri-field then went off 3 times in a row just as
requested. Shortly afterward, all beeping stopped. No
explanation was found for the spike in EMF.
An EVP
session was then made in the kitchen and living room area.
Nothing noted out of the ordinary at that time.
Conclusion:
P.R.O.O.F is unable to confirm this location to be haunted, but
believes there to be enough evidence supporting possible
paranormal activity. P.R.O.O.F. expects to investigate this
location again in the future.
Update - P.R.O.O.F. has performed
an additional investigation. See Case # IB28.
Case # HI27
– Roger’s Christmas House
(Brooksville, FL) – Bobby, Chris, Jason, Mike, Grace & Debbie
Moon:
Waning Crescent – 3% of Full
History:
Rogers' Christmas House started as a dream by Margaret Ghitto
Rogers. She started her part of her business in her father's
downtown department store, located on Main Street right in the
heart of Historic Brooksville. In 1969, after the closure of
the department store, Mrs. Ghiotto retained the Christmas
portion of the store and opened The Christmas House from her
two-story Victorian home. With the help of a local banker, Mrs.
Ghiotto purchased the Main House in 1971 and moved her Christmas
store to this location. She originally hoped to keep the store
opened from September through January, but in January 1972,
business was flowing and she remained open ever since. During
her success from the Main House, Mrs. Ghiotto purchased the
other buildings and created the Village with the five houses.
Aside from The Main House, the additional houses include the
Storybook House, The Cottage, The Magnolia House, and The Little
House Under the Oak.
Report:
It had come to our attention through word of mouth that this
location may have paranormal activity. The owner and employees
have remained skeptical.
Investigation: Our
investigation took place in The Main House and The Storybook
House.
In the Main House, Bobby, Chris and Mike had conducted EVP
sessions throughout the location. While in the attic, we did
capture what appeared to be a disembodied voice. The voice below
appears to be that of a weeping girl or young woman that was
heard a few times with the naked ear during the recordings.
Then Jason, Grace and Debbie investigated the same attic of The
Main House, Jason indicated that he had the feeling of being
watched and felt a light touch under his right thigh. He hadn’t
mentioned it to the group and and about 2 minutes later, Debbie
stated that she felt something touch her leg as well.
While investigating the Storybook House, Jason, Grace and Debbie
had reported smelling a foul odor (possible sulfur) from the
main room that seemed to have dissipated after a short period of
time. Later, near the same location, they were able to
manipulate the thermometer approximately 8 degrees in either
direction, upon request over the span of a few minutes. No other
temperature fluctuations were noted. This evidence was
subjective as there was some handing of the thermometer, but is
noted as we will attempt to scrutinize this occurrence on a
following investigation.
In the attic of The Storybook House, Bobby, Chris and mike
attempted to conduct an EVP session. A digital voice recorder
was on a shelf, at least 3 to 4 feet from investigators. After
just a few minutes, the voice recorder stopped recording and
turned itself off. It was first thought to be the battery but
when turned back on the battery was still at 2/3 power. The
recorder was simply turned back on and recording resumed.
Conclusion:
P.R.O.O.F. is unable to confirm this location to be haunted due
to lack of any evidence found during the window of time that was
spent at this location, but believe that they have captured

History:This apartment home is approximately 600
sq ft with 1 bedroom and 1 bathrooms. The complex was built in
1985.
Report:
Resident and relative felt as if 3 year old son may be seeing
his deceased uncle (resident’s brother), who he had never met.
The child had apparently even called the man’s name out prior to
having any knowledge of the uncle. Magnets on the refrigerator
have been stated to have been moved where the child could not
reach and frequent visits have apparently been identified by the
child. The resident is skeptical, but has carefully documented
each event and is open minded to all possibilities.
Resident did have a photograph where the child was originally
quick to identify the deceased uncle as being captured as well.
Resident did have an additional photo showing a streak of light
and requested our opinion.
Investigation:
The base temperature readings were consistent with no abnormal
variances. No EVP's recorded. No EMF spikes were noted. Several
hours of video and many photos did not indicate anything
abnormal.
P.R.O.O.F. was able to determine the first photograph was a
result of pareidolia (matrixing)
as a face was said to be found from the water of the pool.
The second photograph was disproved as anything paranormal as we
were able to duplicate with the light source that still remained
in a similar location.
Conclusion:
P.R.O.O.F does not have any evidence to believe this location to
be haunted given the amount of time available to investigate.

Moon:
Waning Crescent – 14% of Full
History:This building, located at 18 SW Broadway
Street, was originally built in 1906. Following construction of
the building, it became a tennis racket store (New Racket
Store), owned by J.W. Alexander. In 1919, Nick Sakiostis & Co.
and the New York Meat Market had occupied part of the building
prior to the meat market changing names and becoming known as
the Ocala Cash Market and Meats. A real estate broker by the
name of Julia Turner occupied an office on the second floor in
1935. By 1937, the grocery store was taken over by Jaudat J.
Katiba. An additional office was occupied in 1937 from a dentist
by the name of Nathanial H. Jones while the first floor was
occupied by Marion Liquor Store by 1940.
Report:
P.R.O.O.F. learned through a local news article (http://www.ocala.com/article/20080306/NEWS/803060344/1001/NEWS01)
that Jokeboys Comedy Club is presumed to have the presence of a
man named Linus, according to Rick Hayes, a graduate of
University of Florida.
The article continues with Mr. Hayes’s claims that Linus is “not
tall - maybe 5'5" or so” and has a “round face and is a little
stocky, definitely middle-aged.” Hayes continues to add that “He
is very respectful, though. He stays up in the attic because he
doesn't want to interfere with business."
Investigation:
No evidence was found on video or photographs that were taken.
EMF and tri-field meters remained stationary as well as
thermometer readings.
Conclusion:
P.R.O.O.F is unable to confirm this location to be haunted due
to lack of any evidence found during the window of time that was
spent at this location. P.R.O.O.F. does look forward to
investigating this location again in the future.
The
Massie Heritage Center is a symbol of Savannah’s early
commitment to public education.
Here is
a timeline of special events pertaining to this historic school,
located on Calhoun Square at the southeast corner of Abercorn
and Gordon Streets:
1841
- Peter Massie, a Scotsman who had lived in Savannah before
moving to Glynn County, Georgia, dies and leaves $5,000.00 to
the city of Savannah "for the education of poor
children."
1852

Cohen request and receive $9,000.00 to build the Massie School
House.
Work
begins in December, with John S. Norris (designer of the Custom
House and the Green-Meldrim House) as architect and builder, on
a classic Greek Revival structure that will become the Massie
School.
1856 - An
October 8 opening is postponed until October 15 because the
arrival of desks is delayed.
School
opens with 150 students in six classrooms. Enrollment grows to
240 by the end of the first school year. Of the 240 students,
forty-two pay tuition amounting to $1200.00, an average of
$28.57 per student, although payment varied depending on ability
to pay.

During the Union occupation of Savannah, Massie School House is
used as a Union Hospital.
The
Chatham County Public School System is chartered as the first
public school system in Georgia.
The
"Massie Common School House" marks ten years of operation as a
public school
1872
- The western building is added next to the original 1856 John
Norris structure in a compatible style.
1886 -
The eastern building is added on the other side of the original
1856 John Norris structure in a compatible style.
1974 -
The Massie School is closed as a regular inner-city school after
nearly 120 years of operation.
1975 -
The Massie School history and building are researched by Saxon
Pope Bargeron, a Massie School principal, Savannah-Chatham
County school superintendent, and Board of Education president.
1977
- The Massie Heritage Interpretation Center is placed on the
National Register for Historic Places.
Report: Full body apparitions have
been reported. Disembodies sounds of children playing have been
heard. The feeling of a presence has been claimed and EVP's have
been captured at this location.
Investigation: Most of the location, which consisted
of three separate buildings joined together by a small walkway,
had no apparent fluctuation in temperate or EMF readings.
However, some activity was documented in the classroom setting
on the second floor as well as the front left staircase.
Kevin claimed that
he was pushed and later became emotional for no apparent reason.
Patti had also broken down emotionally for no apparent reason,
but was able to feel comfortable after a few minutes.
Just prior to
leaving, the group attempted a small EVP session on the stairs.
Jodi was able to capture what sounded like a woman asking us a
question. P.R.O.O.F. has been unsuccessful at obtaining copy of
EVP.
Conclusion:
There were certainly some unexplainable events during our
investigation at this location, some of which may appear to be
that of paranormal activity. P.R.O.O.F. believes that an
intelligent haunting may be the cause of reported events, but
hopes to re-investigate to make a final conclusion.

History:
This home was built in 1955 and has 1619 sq ft with 3 bedrooms
and 2 bathrooms.
Report:
Three people reside at this location (a married couple and their
son). The homeowner originally requested that we come
investigate, giving P.R.O.O.F. no indication of claimed events so
that we would arrive with no preconceived ideas.
After we
concluded our investigation, the homeowner explained that the
fan light in the master bedroom has turned on without
explanation and stated that many other light bulbs in the house
were burning out faster than expected. Sounds of knocking or
creaking have been heard on the other side of the home, but were
usually disregarded as the house settling. The homeowner also
stated that all dishes from a kitchen cabinet had fallen and
broken on the kitchen floor with no explanation. The cabinet
door was previously shut and all shelves were in tact. The
husband and wife have both witnessed hearing old fashioned type
music coming from the third bedroom. Miscellaneous objects were
also reported as being lost but later recovered in obvious areas
that were previously checked.
Investigation:
During our investigation, temperature readings and EMF readings
remained consistent. Over 26 hours of video, 2 hours of audio
and over two hundred photos were taken.
Jason reported
battery fluctuation of his video camera within the first 30
minutes of the investigation while inside the master bedroom.
Bobby noted that he felt like someone was standing next to him
for about 20 seconds during the EVP session in the son's room.
Chris and Jason both claimed (without consulting each other)
that the most uncomfortable portion of the home was the hallway
between the son's room and the third bedroom.
P.R.O.O.F. was able to capture an EVP in the son's room during the
investigation, which sounded like screaming. This was noted as
Jason was able to hear the sound through the headphones during
the recording, while Chris and I were both present and heard
nothing.
Conclusion: Although we
were able to capture an EVP, P.R.O.O.F. is
unable to confirm this
location to be haunted due to lack of supporting evidence found during
the window of time that was spent at this location.

Consistent readings of temperature and EMF readings were noted
during our re-investigation. No audio evidence was
captured. Again, there was a note to be made while reviewing
video evidence as one of the four cameras on the DVR system
showed that the screen went completely yellow in color without
explanation. No one was in the room at the time this video was
captured.
Conclusion:
Nothing solid has occurred during the small window of time that
P.R.O.O.F. has investigated this residence. However, we hope to
provide continuous assistance by keeping this as ongoing case.
History: Moon River Brewing
Company is located in the former City Hotel. Elazer Early, a
native of Charleston, S.C, built the City Hotel in 1821. Not
only was it the first hotel in Savannah, but it was also home to
the first branch of the United States Post Office in Savannah,
as well as a branch of the Bank of the United States.
Many notable people stayed at the City Hotel, including War of
1812 hero Winfield Scott, the Marquis de Lafayette, the first
three commodores of the U.S. Navy and naturalist James Audubon.
Audubon stayed six months while attempting to sell books full of
his wildlife sketches.
In 1851 Peter Wiltberger bought the City Hotel. He renovated it
and put a live lion and lioness on display to draw attention to
his business. City Hotel’s final guest checked out in 1864, just
before the arrival of General Tecumseh Sherman during the war of
Northern Aggression and the subsequent closing of the City
Hotel.
At the turn of the century, the building was used as a lumber
and coal warehouse. As the use of coal slowly died off, the
building was used for general storage. In the 1960s the space
was renovated as an office supply store, complete with a large
printing press. Hurricane David forced this business to close in
1979 when it blew the roof off the structure.
The building sat empty until 1995 when it was renovated into its
current configuration as a brew pub. The Moon River Brewing
Company debuted in this space on April 10, 1999.
Report:One
of the claimed ghosts that is said to be haunting the building
and is believed to be responsible for attempting to push male
visitors down the stairs is that of an arrogant drunken braggart
named James Stark, who
expressed
his dislike of a local doctor, Philip Minis. Inevitably, word
got back to Dr. Minis, who, although angered, considered the
source and let the matter simmer to midsummer. In August, Minis,
no longer able to tolerate the mounting accusations of
cowardice, demanded of Stark either an apology or “that
satisfaction which one gentleman should afford another.” When
the two men could not agree on terms of the duel, Stark
continued to ridicule Minis’ courage. On August 10th, James
Stark and a friend were coming down the stairs in the City Hotel
just in time to hear Dr. Minis pronounce ” I proclaim James
Stark a coward!” Stark put his hand in his pocket as if to draw
a pistol, and advanced toward Minis who drew his pistol and
fired. Dr. Richard Arnold examined the body of James Stark and
said “the ball passed through the upper left thorax, behind the
top part of the scapula, and through, into the side of the
kitchen door”. Dr. Minis was tried and acquitted of murder and
went on to become an U.S. Army surgeon and father of seven.
There have been many noted claims from employees and visitors
witnessing events such as a female ghost looking out one of the
windows to items on the table breaking or moving on their own.
Investigation: Video and
audio equipment was set up in the basement and second floor of
this location. EMF & temperature readings were the primary focus
due to the large amount of sound coming from the outside while
investigating the second floor. Audio recordings were attempted
on the first floor. Nothing was witnessed or felt out of
the ordinary by anyone during the investigation. Consistent
readings were noted for temperature and EMF..
P.R.O.O.F. did not capture any type
of audio or video evidence during our review.
Conclusion: P.R.O.O.F is
unable to confirm this
location to be haunted due to lack of any evidence found during
the window of time that was spent at this location. P.R.O.O.F.

Report: Owner
believes a child may be haunting the place of business, possibly
from a child that was killed in an accident at an intersection
just yards away. There have been many accounts of toys and
models being moved and knocked down from bookcases, chairs
spinning around, and other items being levitated. Other claims
have been noises knocking coming from the attic above.
The
business owner has set up his own surveillance system to hope to
catch some paranormal activity with minimal results and asks
that P.R.O.O.F. come in to help authenticate his claims. His
personal captured evidence included knocks and sounds on a
digital voice recorder that he placed in a room during close of
business
Investigation: Wile
attempting to make contact, Bobby asked that the entity increase
the EMF reading by .3 Gauss. In less than a minute, the reading
was increased as requested. When asked if it could increase it
by an additional .3 Gauss, the reading was increased by .2 in a
short moment and soon returned to the normal base reading after
several additional attempts were made. During an EVP session,
Bobby claimed to have heard several footsteps on the headphones
while recording 'live'. During the same session, investigators
asked that the entity prove its existence by knocking twice.
Soon after, there was a knocking sound witnessed by all
investigators. This was also attempted a few more times with one
knock, two knocks, and one knock again.
No unusual temperate
readings or video evidence was noted. Anthony claimed, with
Bobby as a witness, that his video camera battery rapidly
fluctuating from 100 minutes to 83, back to 100, and down to 96.
This continued for several minutes while the battery was
confirmed as being seated in the camera properly. It was also
noted that this did not occur until mentioning the name of the
boy that the business owner believes to haunting this location.
Conclusion:
There were certainly some unexplainable events during our
investigation at this location, some of which may appear to be
that of paranormal activity. P.R.O.O.F. believes that an
intelligent haunting may be the cause of reported events, but

Report:
Household consists of 4 adults, 4 teens, several dogs and
cats.
Adults and teens have reported seeing full-body apparitions in
their home, specifically in the garage and back porch. There
have been claims of a ghostly face appearing in the shower,
too. They often smell a vanilla tobacco and see objects
moving. There have been several reports of the TV turning on
and off on cue, and the family claims to experience more
frequent and aggressive paranormal activity when they verbally
provoke the entities. They have been able to record some
disembodied voices and sounds prior to P.R.O.O.F.’s
investigation.
This family believes that there is a woman, a man and a dark
shadowy figure haunting their home.
Investigation:
Three still video cameras, two hand-held video cameras, two
voice-recorders, two digital cameras, 2 EMF meters, a Tri-Field
meter, and a temperature gauge were used during this
investigation.
The night of the investigation was extraordinarily hot and
humid, yet there was a moment in the back room of the porch when
the temperature dropped a few degrees while doing some EVP
work. There were also some perceived disembodied moans and
sighs during the EVP work on the back porch.
On two occasions,
batteries on the hand-held video cameras quickly drained.
A couple of hours into the investigation, several family members
and friends came into the home which unfortunately disrupted the
investigation and contaminated possible audio evidence that was
found. During this time two residents stated that they felt a
presence.
Conclusion: No
uncontaminated scientific evidence was found.

Plant City was once known
as the town of Ichepucksassa by Indians that once occupied
the area. It was later re-named to Cork from the local
postmaster’s hometown located in Ireland and finally given
the name Plant City, commemorating Henry B Plant as well as
his railroad.
The history of the investigated location prior to the home
being built is not known.
Report:
Five people live at the
residence consisting of the husband, wife, teenage daughter,
and two younger daughters. All members of the family have
experienced the feeling of being watched and have heard
voices calling their names. They've all heard voices and
footsteps above the bathroom. One of the young daughters
believes that a little girl lives in the bathroom and the
girl's name is Abigail.
The homeowner reports being waken up from a deep sleep by a
small girl's voice yelling "Mommy!", thinking it was one of
her own daughters. When she got up to check on the girls,
they were all fast asleep. A day or two later, without
saying a thing to the girls, her young daughter told her
that there's a ghost in the house. The homeowner questioned
the daughter, asking why she thought that and was told that
the night after the homeowner heard "Mommy!", she couldn't
sleep, so she went into the family room to lay on the sofa
in there, and she heard a little girl talking in the
breakfast nook. Thinking it was the youngest sister
talking, the daughter got up to check out the breakfast nook
and of course, no one was there.
Two years ago, the teenage daughter experienced a time when
she had trouble sleeping. The mother thought it may have
been related to her school load and school stress, but the
daughter finally confessed to her mom that she was having
trouble sleeping because around 3 or 3:30 every night, she
would hear her name called out by a man or a woman that
would wake her up out of a sound sleep. It was getting to
her so much that she started having a lot of trouble
sleeping. The teenage daughter didn't want to say anything
because she was scared her family wouldn't believe her. She
and a friend were also up late one night and experienced the
light in the breakfast nook shutting off by itself.
The homeowner has heard a man's voice moaning on two
occasions, and in two separate areas of the house. She
feels the voice has followed her in the house and soon after
she heard the voice, she smelled sulfur (rotten eggs) in
only those two areas where she heard the voice -- and the
smell lasted for a couple of weeks. On a separate occasion,
has felt like she was spanked with a switch (like a stick or
a thin tree branch).
The husband and wife had heard a huge bang one night to find
the large 130-load laundry soap had fallen off a shelf,
stating that it couldn't have just fallen off.
One night in bed, homeowner felt a thumb move up her back
and a hand grab the back of her knee. She was scared to get
into bed for a long time after that. On another occasion,
the whole family was outside except for the youngest
daughter. Suddenly, the youngest daughter came outside
yelling "What? What? Why are you yelling for me?" No one had
been calling her. She said someone had been calling her
name.
Another night, the teenage daughter ran into her mom's room
-- she was scared, shaking and crying (and not usually the
fearful type). She told her mother that she saw a little
girl (apparition) standing in front of her light switch by
the door to her bedroom. She explained that she had long
dark hair and was tall enough to cover the light switch.
Investigation: Seven video cameras
and three voice-recorders were used during this
investigation, as well as three digital cameras, EMF meters,
tri-field meter, and a temperature gauge which totaled
nearly 45 hours of audio and video as well as over 100
photos
The temperature and EMF readings remained consistent with no
fluctuation. Video of a moving object was noted by the
homeowner while he was watching live on the surveillance
monitor. After careful review, members found this object to
be an orb which is believed to have been dust. This occurred
directly in front of the video camera and did so two
additional times later on in the night. Although, the ‘orb’
had movement with some sort of purpose and not just drifting
as characteristic of a dust particle, it was noted that the
air-conditioning was on which would allow for the speedy
movement.
One of the video cameras that rested near the kitchen and
aimed toward the living room seemed to have vibrated for a
few seconds without explanation. Upon reviewing further, it
was determined not everyone in the home at the time were
accounted for at the time of this camera movement to include
two of the residing household cats.
On
several occasions, whispers could be heard during EVP
sessions. It was undetermined whether this could have been
members of the household in a different room or if these
were disembodied voices. The voices that were heard through
the recorders were too faint and unclear to post as
evidence.
Conclusion:
Based on the homeowner’s and daughters’ reports, which are
consistent with paranormal activity, the members of
P.R.O.O.F.
believe that the paranormal activity being reported is
consistent with an intelligent type haunting, but did not
have enough conclusive evidence to confirm.

been owned by Xxxxxx Xxxxxxx (born 12/30/1908) from at least
1-5-87 thru 10-8-01. It states that she was a widow at the time
of sale, but we’ve been unable to locate her husbands name or
information surrounding his death. We were unable to find any
reports online to include local archives regarding additional
history of the home.
Report: Two people reside at this location. The first
occurrence of paranormal activity was in January 2007 where the
resident felt watched and a necklace was lifted without cause.
Reports of a wet girl in the window, curtains moving drastically
upward, doors opening and shutting, shower curtain wrapped
around person, shoes being moved, voice heard saying "It'll be
alright", bed being messed up with pillows found stacked,
resident felt being grabbed, and family dog has been found
looking frightened. Witnesses to such events include
granddaughters as well as the resident's sister having feelings
of a presence.
Investigation: During our investigation, temperature
readings and EMF readings remained consistent. No strange
activity was noted during the investigation. However, after
reviewing over 21 hours of video, 9 hours of audio and over a
hundred photos, we were able to find some photos as well as a
noise that we found interesting.
Update - It has been
found that the particular outlet included a blinking LED (along
with the length of the camera shutter opening), which caused
string-like item to appear.
Conclusion: It
is uncertain whether the captured evidence can be categorized as
'paranormal', but we do find it unusual and do not have an
explanation at this time. Therefore, we are unable to state
that we believe this location to be haunted during the window of
time that was spent at this location.

History: Fort De
Soto is located on the southwest shores of Mullet Key on
the north side of the mouth of Tampa Bay. Construction on the
fort began in November 1898 and on May 10, 1900 construction was
completed. It was built to repel Spanish forces from naval
attacks on Tampa Bay using tent guns among other armament. The
fort is constructed of a concrete formula consisting of shell,
stone and concrete mix. On April 4, 1900 the site was named Fort
De Soto after Hernando De Soto, a well known Spanish explorer.
Although the fort never
experienced any battles, it is believed that many soldiers died
from yellow fever, heat related illnesses, and spoiled food.
Report:
Some researchers believe
the powder room located on the southernmost end to be haunted
while other people have reported having an eary feeling when walking this area of the fort.
Investigation: Several hours
were spent investigating the fort lasting through the early
morning. A digital voice recorder was placed at a location
believed to be where the original military hospital once stood.
Much time was spent in the storage areas where P.R.O.O.F.
members recorded night vision video, audio recordings,
temperature, and EMF. We also walked the entire fort several
times with video and audio equipment.

room in complete darkness and silence, female laughter was
heard by all investigators present. Upon further investigation
in the daylight, Anthony discovered that there was a vent that
led to the top of the fort. This piece of evidence was
dismissed as someone may have been walking the fort or the
laughter may have carried from a nearby parking lot or pier.
A possible voice was captured from
the audio recorder placed at the old hospital grounds.
This evidence is still under review by investigators to
determine if an EVP was captured
No video evidence was captured
during our visit at
Fort De Soto. No temperature or EMF
fluctuations.
Conclusion: -
Although, no conclusive evidence was captured, It remains
uncertain whether the fort has paranormal activity. A
return visit by P.R.O.O.F. is possible for follow up investigation.
Update - P.R.O.O.F. has performed
an additional investigation. See Case # GJ04.
Case # FL16 -
Private Residence (Winter
Park, FL ) - Bobby,
Anthony, & Chris
Moon: Waning Crescent, 15% of
Full
Solar Flares: Active
Geomagnetic Field: Storm
History:
This
apartment home was approximately 600 square feet with one
bedroom and one bath.
Report: Resident is the only
person that lives in the home. He reports that he felt
that someone had sat on the bed while he was asleep and has also
felt like something brushed against his back on a separate
occasion. He also reports that the television had turned on and
off without explanation. He has felt unexplained chills and saw
a male figure float into the room and sit next to him. He states
that he has left the room on several occasions, only to come
back and find that there was typing made from his laptop. While
having a friend over, they both witnessed a single strum of an
electric guitar sitting in the room as well as banging on a
nearby trashcan lid. The same friends also reported
previously hearing his name called from an unknown source.
Resident is attempting to find out what the typed messages mean
and if he is able to help an apparent entity.
Investigation: The
temperatures remained consistent (approx 78 degrees) in all
rooms of the apartment with no fluctuations. The tri-field
meter indicated a base reading at or below 2 mG. The tri-field
meter remained on the coffee table for the majority of the
investigation. The meter did register spikes in excess of
12 mG. This was pretty consistent when investigators began
asking basic questions or when the resident removed himself from
the room. At one point, the electric guitar cord did come out of
the amplifier, causing a loud sound from the speaker. This was
evaluated and concluded that it was possible for the cord to
have been loosely connected to the amplifier and may have simply
fallen out due to natural causes. All present company witnessed
the sound of the push on the front door. The apartment was
located in a breezeway and was possible to have been caused by
the wind. However, investigators did attempt to duplicate the
sound by pushing the door on the outside and found that a fairly
substantial amount of pressure would have been needed to cause
the door to be adjusted. No evidence found on audio or
video recordings of the apartment.
Conclusion: -
Although members did witness a couple of interesting
occurrences, both instances were able to be duplicated or
disproved. Unfortunately, P.R.O.O.F. is not able to provide a
follow-up investigation as the resident has since moved out of
state.
History:
The
world’s first and largest permanent Titanic attraction features
full-scale recreations of Titanic’s most famous rooms, including
her Grand Staircase, First Class Parlor Suite and Promenade
Deck. The 17-room, 15,000 sq.
ft. attraction also showcases an extensive Underwater Room,
displaying an 8-foot replica of Titanic as she appears on the
bottom of the Atlantic today as well as over 200 artifact and
historical treasures, including movie memorabilia from James
Cameron’s blockbuster film,
TITANIC.
Report: Employees have
reported seeing books falling forward off of bookshelves and
pencils thrown across the Gift Shop by what is believed to be a
little girl with the name of Catherine, who is sometimes heard
giggling regardless of the time of day. A tour guide once saw a
red ball roll onto the floor from a display case and a little
girl's hand come out to grab it, only to find both disappear. A
cleaning lady once saw a man with a floppy hat sitting in one of
the deck chairs that was placed in a display case only to refuse
to back to clean again. Several employees have reported hearing
their name called from a room during closing. A man dressed as
an officer was seen, from the torso up, looking out a window and
then simply vanished. A framed picture was once placed on a
display case and then suddenly fell forward. That same night,
the picture was no longer on the case, but was found in a corner
across the room with the frame and glass broken.
Investigation: While
performing a joint investigation with
Florida Ghost Hunters,
P.R.O.O.F. had taken over 150 photographs and hours of video
recording. An EMF sweep was taken and we did have fluctuations.
However, it was found that someone had their cell phone on which
may have interfered with the readings. No fluctuations in
temperature as most rooms were between 63 & 68 degrees. Chris did note seeing a shadow on the top of the
staircase, but was not captured on video. No evidence found when
attempted EVP's were performed. However, a voice was reported
being heard of a woman saying, "Hello?" by a member of
Florida Ghost Hunters. Within
approximately a 45-minute period, members of P.R.O.O.F. & FGH
had problems with their walkie-talkies. Camera batteries went
dead and a video camera lost 30 minutes of previously available
recording time. Following is an EVP captured by Florida Ghost
Hunters.
Conclusion: -
Although P.R.O.O.F. does not have enough evidence to declare
this exhibit 'haunted', it is believed to have the potential for
paranormal activity to be occurring due to our experiences and
the captured EVP. We hope to go back for a return visit and spend more
time for a more in depth investigation.

Case # EB21 - Rose Cemetery (Tarpon
Springs, FL) - Bobby,
Anthony, John, Chris, Justina <guest>
History: Rose Cemetery dates back to
the early 1900's and, during the days of segregation, was
available for African Americans from New Port Richey to
Clearwater. Today, it still remains a final resting place
for hundreds of black residents.
Over the past few years,
efforts have been made in an attempt to rehabilitate the
cemetery and hundreds of previously unknown graves have since
been recovered. One of these recovered graves includes
that of Civil War Veteran Richard Quarls, a black Confederate
solder who was born into slavery on December 12, 1833.
Moon: Waxing Gibbous - 94%
of Full
Investigation: This EVP was caught while
P.R.O.O.F. investigated Rose Cemetery. There were three males
present and one female. While video taping, John had just
finished telling Anthony, " My sweater moved. I thought it was Justina touching me or something." Seconds later, this EVP from
the video camera of a woman's response was captured. Keep
in mind that Justina was at least 50 feet away and is not the
voice that you will hear.
Conclusion: -
P.R.O.O.F does not believe that Rose Cemetery is necessarily
haunted or is roamed by several spirits. However, what we did
conclude is that the EVP (above) is authentic and what we
believe to be saying, "I touched him. I touched the boy". Future
plans will eventually be made for a return visit.
